This is a tribute to Ann Badcock, much loved mother of Sean and Lisajane, nannie to Jordan, Leo and Millyanna, sister of Christine, Pamela and Carol.

In March 2022, Ann had a Stem Cell Transplant due to having a platelet disorder. Ann took everything in her stride during this difficult time in hospital, isolated from her family and friends. Covid also impacted Ann’s recovery which meant she had to self isolate at home for a long time while she was immunosuppressed.

At one stage, we thought she was winning but unfortunately Ann became seriously unwell with an infection which her body could no longer fight.

Whoever knew Ann, knew that she was strong willed right til the end when she made the decision to stop treatment and go home.

Ann returned home on Saturday 3rd December 2022 and was looked after by Sean and Lisajane.

On Tuesday 7:15am Ann passed away peacefully in her sleep with Sean and Lisajane by her side.

We will be forever grateful to the Anthony Nolan Trust for finding a suitable donor.

She is much loved and will always be remembered.
